New PADC Facilities Unveiled | The Advertiser
Recently, The Advertiser highlighted the unveiling of two new state-of-the-art warehouses at the Port Adelaide Distribution Centre (PADC). These developments mark a significant milestone in Quintessential’s ongoing investment in South Australia’s industrial landscape.
Warehouse M, now a 5,274-square-metre facility, was demolished and rebuilt after the original structure, which had stood since 1947, was no longer fit for purpose. Warehouse O, spanning 7,340 square metres, was developed on vacant land to further accommodate the increasing demand for modern logistics and office spaces. Together, these two facilities blend cutting-edge office environments with advanced warehousing capabilities, supporting various industrial and commercial needs.
With 17 tenants and over 200 employees already at PADC, these additions strengthen the site’s role as a hub for businesses in the region. Quintessential’s Executive Director, Shane Quinn, explained that the upgrades, driven by strong tenant demand, have resulted in increased rent prices, demonstrating the site's growing value. Rents at PADC have now surpassed $150 per square metre for the newly completed facilities.
Quintessential’s strategic upgrades to PADC underscore their commitment to providing high-quality commercial spaces that meet both industrial and modern office requirements, enhancing South Australia’s logistics network.
