20 Gheringhap Street development leasing launch
Quintessential is thrilled to be announcing the launch of its latest commercial office building, 20 Gheringhap Street.
We celebrated the launch of the event at Wurriki Nyal, with the Honourable Richard Marles MP, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence.
Following the successful completion of the Geelong City Council’s new headquarters, Wurriki Nyal, 20 Gheringhap signals Quintessential's commitment to continue our contribution to Geelong to support the growing population, which is forecast to reach 360,250 residents by 2036.
The development highlights Quintessential’s solid reputation for quality and strong focus on occupier relationships in what will be a further $125M investment in the Geelong market. 20 Gheringhap will follow the successful delivery of three landmark PCA A Grade office buildings in the Geelong CBD; 1 Malop Street, 60 Moorabool Street and Wurriki Nyal.
Geelong’s estimated population growth dovetails with the post-pandemic trend of urbanites flocking to regional areas for a ‘sea-change’. Moreover, companies are beginning to recognise the benefits of a decentralised workplace allowing for greater work-life balance. Geelong is positioned at the heart of this trend, providing Quintessential Equity an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of Geelong’s population expansion and continue to lead the way in Geelong’s office space development, design and sustainability.
It is essential to Quintessential that 20 Gheringhap focuses on connectivity and wellbeing first. In light of this, not only will the building enhance connectivity within Geelong CBD, but also foster a connection with people’s health and wellbeing as well as the relationship between employer and employee. The design of the building reflects our mission to achieve such, through thoughtful inclusions of open terrace spaces, expansive public realms, club style amenities, cafes, restaurants and retail – all easily accessible from the building.
To tie in class leading ESG credentials for modern office buildings, 20 Gheringhap features all electric high performance mechanical systems, rainwater harvesting, solar panels and electric car charging stations, reflecting Quintessential’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and reducing the carbon footprint of our office buildings. Quintessential continues to secure longevity of our buildings through sustainability and structural intelligence – and 20 Gheringhap is no exception.
We are passionate about providing world-class office spaces that provide premium outcomes for our tenants, the community and the environment. 20 Gheringhap is now open for leasing and is expected to be completed early 2025.
