60 Moorabool Street: A Hive of Activity!
Today marks a significant milestone in our sustainability journey at 60 Moorabool Street, Geelong. Alongside our valued tenant, GMHBA Limited, we are thrilled to welcome two new hives of rooftop bees to the building.
These bees are much more than just tenants. They will play a crucial role in promoting biodiversity, supporting local ecosystems, and contributing to environmental sustainability. With an estimated annual production of 100kgs of honey, these bees will not only sweeten our workdays but also provide an opportunity for tenants to learn about the importance of pollinators in maintaining healthy environments.
To foster community engagement, We’re inviting our tenants to Generate a Buzz at the workplace by participating in upcoming bee workshops designed to foster community engagement and teach the importance of these incredible creatures.
Special thanks to JLL and Rooftop Bees for facilitating the installation, and a big shoutout to Simon Adler from Quintessential, our beekeeper for the day, for releasing the bees in his bright orange suit! We’re thrilled to see 60 Moorabool Street buzzing with this new addition.
Stay tuned for more updates on our sustainability initiatives as we continue to make a positive environmental impact—one bee at a time.
