Carbon Neutral Certification for QE property funds business

QE’s property funds management business has now been certified Carbon Neutral by Climate Active.  We have invested in an offset project that provides economic/social and environmental benefits to communities as well as reducing emissions. This is a thermal energy project in Vietnam which prevents the release of methane into the atmosphere and reduces local environmental problems such as river congestion and ecological damage.

We have a desire to be sustainable and transparent in all of our reporting, as we aim to continue our carbon neutral certification beyond 2019. We’re also using this opportunity to create awareness and change in our personal and corporate behaviour to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
