Creating local employment opportunities on the ground at the $220 million Geelong Civic Precinct | Geelong Advertiser

We’re so proud to be creating local employment opportunities on the ground at the $220 million Geelong Civic Precinct, with the project having so far achieved 70% local procurement – well ahead of our overall target of 43%.

During this first phase of work, local companies Perry Demolition, Norris Construction Group and Draper’s Civil Contracting have continued to work on-site with strict COVID-safe protocols in place. With the aim of creating 900 local jobs throughout the project’s lifespan, significant new contracts have also recently been awarded to D&E Mechanical and Anova Electrical Pty Ltd.

If you are a local business, subcontractor or supplier that could help in delivering this project, please register your interest as a local subcontractor or supplier by contacting Watpac at enquiries_cogg@watpac.com.au or through the ICN Portal at gateway.icn.org.au
